Lime Plaster (Eden Skim Coat) – Premixed
Made in Cumbria, our lime plaster (Eden Skim Coat) is produced via the hot mix method. Mixed at ratio of 2:1 (sand:quicklime).
Lime plaster is a traditional internal finishing plaster, applied over base coats of lime mortar or insulated lime. Can also be used for skimming onto plasterboard, for this the boards would need to be primed first with Baumit Premium Primer (DG27).
The lime plaster should be applied at less than 2mm coats at anyone time, a second pass can be done 2-3 hours later (this depends on temperature and humidity in the room)
Coverage:
22kg bucket covers approximately 4-5m² (allowing for 2 x 2mm passes)
