Plastering/Rendering

1 sqm x 10mm thick: 26kg of lime mortar.

Building a wall (double layer of stone)

1 sqm: 200kg of lime mortar.

Parging/Torching

1 sqm: approx 22kg of lime mortar (dependent on slate & lath).

Pointing

1 sqm: approx 26kg of lime mortar (dependent on stone size & pointing depth).

Limewash

Experience has proved that Limewash should be applied hot, we recommend to slake the Quicklime on site and apply straightaway. It’s a superior method and 3 coats should be sufficient.

10 sqm: approx 6Kg of Extra Fine Quicklime (for 3 coats)

22Kg bucket will cover approx 36 sqm (for 3 coats)
