Plastering Hair & Fibres
Plastering hair or fibres are typically added to backing coats of plasters and renders, this gives extra strength and minimises shrinking and cracking.
Horse hair Kg (bundles) – Backing coat reinforcement particularly onto lath and also masonry.
Goat hair Kg (bundles) – Backing coat reinforcement particularly onto lath and also masonry.
Plastering Fibres Kg – Backing coat reinforcement for plasters and renders onto masonry.
Screed Fibres for Limecrete Floors
Screed fibres are added to the screed mix for Limecrete floors for extra reinforcement, we recommend 1Kg of fibres per cubic metre of lime screed for floors with normal use.
